Cothill Barn has been beautifully renovated by our fantastic builder, who has taken great care to reuse original materials throughout, which enhances the great character of the Barn. We have lovingly furnished it with antique pine furniture, quirky finds and handmade furnishings - even down to the loo roll holders!
Each bedroom is provided with a TV, is en suite and, of course, full of individual touches…
Bedroom 1
Spacious and luxurious with its king size bed with hand made bed head, roll top bath and separate room with wash basin and loo, this is the room for quiet contemplation – but still room for a cot or child's guest bed.
Bedroom 2
What makes this room special is the little gallery with its great views towards the Black Mountains; beneath it is room for a child’s bed. Kingsize bed, stylish separate shower, washbasin and wc.
Bedroom 3
This ground floor room, formerly the 'duck cot' takes rustic simplicity a stage further – it has antique French twin beds and a large ensuite bathroom with rolltop bath and shower over.
Bedroom 4
The other ground floor room, it is easily accessible, has a 4 foot antique French double bed, a large wetroom with accessible jet power shower, patio doors and views across the fields.
Galleried Landing & Balcony
A lovely, light reading space with great views over the valley. Enjoy the sunshine on the balcony or watch the storms gathering.
KitchenThe kitchen/dining room is fully equipped with all you need from creating dinner parties to a quick breakfast on the run. There’s a 4 oven range cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and plenty of cooking utensils, glasses, crockery and cutlery.
Entrance Hallway
A small loo has been cleverly fitted under the stairs and the ipod/cd/radio is also in the hall. Another sitting area with with two chairs and a side table
Sitting Room
A spacious room with a cosy wood burner in the corner and soft lighting, this is the place to chill on one of the four squashy sofas after a day in the countryside or challenge each other with one of the many board games provided.
Snug/ Bedroom 5 /Children’s Room
Lovely room with a glazed door to the enclosed garden, a double sofa bed and, of course wi-fi access.
Utility/Dog Room
The place we all need – somewhere to leave the ‘stuff’ and do the washing.
Outside
Two enclosed gardens with a fire pit to take the chill off at night, a great undercover alfresco dining area with fairy lights and seating for up to 16 guests, a small orchard and lots of places to sit and take in the stunning views with plenty of parking.
Granary Games Room
A great space in the old granary just a few feet away with ping pong, pool, darts, table football, etc. Always a hit with children and adults alike.
